if you are a fan of this sewing machine, there is good news. Brother company has launched the newer version of Brother CS6000i sewing machine: “The Brother CS7000i”
The Brother CS7000i sewing machine is an update to its predecessor, the brother CS6000I (check review). Brother CS6000 is model is not discontinued, instead, the company has decided to launch a newer model with more features.
While almost identical in most specs, it features 10 more stitches and one additional presser foot. Its color is also a little more decorative than the plain navy blue of the Brother CS6000i.
The CS7000i is designed for ease of use, with convenient features like the LCD display, automatic needle threader, easy-to-follow threading diagrams, Quick-set bobbin system and adjustable sewing speed control.
With 70 built-in sewing stitches, including decorative stitches, quilting stitches and seven styles of one-step, auto-size buttonholes, the possibilities are endless. The free arm capability makes it easy to sew cuffs, sleeves and skinny jeans and the drop feed mechanism allows for free motion sewing and quilting.

Pros:

Cons:
- The Brother CS7000i is not meant to be a portable machine. It weighs just over 13 pounds, making transportation kind of a pain.
- It works best for light sewing and is not ideal for heavy-duty sewing or with fabrics that are very thick.
